12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 7

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 7. This hop will take place November 25th through December 6th and the new postings each day will be posted by 8am eastern standard time. This hop will be full of wonderful ideas and inspiration to get you well on your way of creating all of those beautiful Christmas project. Today's post is a little different. I am posting our guest designers work here on my blog since she has had some issues with her blog. So the blog comments you leave today will be for our guest designer Dena Jones. You can view some of her previous work HERE.

Aloha from Hawaii! Thank you, Lisa, for hosting this fun blog hop every year, and thank you for having me! For my guest post today, I created a Christmas card using stamps.

The beautiful Christmas tree image is from a Stampin' Up! set called Special Season. I stamped the tree in Old Olive ink also by SU!. I think this is a great shade of green for Christmas cards. The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink set called Happiest of holidays. The sentiments in this set are absolutely beautiful! The paper I used is from the Holly Jolly Christmas set by Echo Park which was released last year.

I wanted to add a little bit of sparkle to the card, so I used a Wink of Stella brush to create the effect of gold garland wrapped around the tree. I finished off the card with a few adhesive pearls by SU!.
