12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 6








Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 6. This hop will take place November 24th through December 5th and the new postings each day will be posted by 9am eastern standard time. This hop will be full of wonderful ideas and inspiration to get you well on your way of creating all of those beautiful Christmas project. This is an awesome way to get a lot of your Christmas cards, and scrapbook layouts finished, home decorations completed and maybe even be inspired to create something using a new technique that you have never tried.  There will be a new project posted each and every day by all the wonderful amazing ladies in this hop. Also each day we will have a guest designer or two for you to visit. I will be giving away some wonderful blog candy each day of the hop from our amazing sponsors that we have for this hop. I will be posting all the winners from this hop on December 9th. Every one has a chance to win including the ladies participating in the hop and even the guest designers and the sponsors.  Now for today's project I decided to do something 
different and give some yummy recipes for you all to try.
Jingle Bell Balls


Ingredients:
3-1/2 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
3/4 cup M&M's Brand MINIS Chocolate Candies
3-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
3 tablespoons Parkay Original Stick
1/3 cup Butter
1/8 teaspoon salt

Combine Rice Krispies cereal and M&M'S MINIS Chocolate Candies in large bowl; set aside.Put marshmallows, butter, peanut butter, and salt in large, heavy saucepan, and melt over medium heat 10 minutes or until smooth, stirring occasionally. Pour over cereal mixture, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated.

Shape mixture into 1-1/2-inch balls. Place on waxed paper, and cool until set. Enjoy!


Jolly Snowman Faces
 Ingredients
1 pouch Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 container (12 oz) Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white frosting
Red string licorice
Assorted candies

1. Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.

2. Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.

3. Frost and decorate 1 cookie at a time. After spreading frosting on cookie, add licorice for band of earmuffs and candies for ear "covers" and snowman face
.


Christmas Cookie Meringues


Cookie Ingredients:
3egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar

Filling Ingredients:
1 (6-oz.) pkg. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon coffee-flavored liqueur
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

1. Heat oven to 275°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or grease and flour cookie sheets. In small bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar at medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar, beating at high speed until stiff peaks form. Drop mixture by scant teaspoonfuls onto paper-lined cookie sheets.

2 In medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients except walnuts; mix well. Stir in walnuts. Drop 1/2 teaspoon filling onto each cookie.

3 Bake at 275°F. for 30 minutes. DO NOT OPEN OVEN. Turn oven off; leave cookies in oven with door closed for 10 minutes. Remove from oven; cool completely. Remove cookies from paper.


Nutter Butter Snowmen
Grab some nutter butters, white chocolate, m+ms, and orange tic-tacs in the grocery store to build these little snowmen. The tic-tacs are such a clever way to add the snowman carrot nose!



Easy Marshmallow Snowmen Cupcakes

You'll Need:
For hat: a chocolate-covered mint "beret" 
For body: two marshmallows -- cut a slice off the top one and squish to make it smaller. Dabs of icing hold parts together
For eyes: chocolate sprinkles (poke holes first with a wet toothpick)
For nose: orange gummy fish (or candy corn piece cut small)

North Pole Cupcakes
You'll Need:
Vanilla Cupcakes
White frosting
Sugar crystals (or coconut might be a cute alternative) 
Candy canes (break off the curved top)
Red M+Ms
Small Cut outs that say "North Pole" (you can print these of hand write them)

    Love your recipes...I cannot wait to try some of them. I found one on Pinterest last night I have to try this year...Red Velvet truffles! My favorite designs are the adventure one on Little Scraps of Heaven cause that will go perfect with a set of hiking pictures and the gingerbread little guys from Scraptastical Kreations...I am sure I will have Christmas photos to go with them!   7. I am enjoying this hop - here we are on day 6 already! Thank you for the hop. Now for your goodies -oh my goodness - you are one busy lady! I could sample one of each - I cannot keep this stuff in my home as I would eat it all myself - bad me! Very lovely goodie and thank you for the recipes too!
    I have many Little Scraps of Heavens paper pieces and I like each one - My Favorite would be The Great Outdoors Collection and for Scraptasticalkreations - Reason for the Season.   8. Well you've went and made me Hungry! They all look so good. Those look like they would be so fun to make with my Grand Kids. My Favorite Pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven- I Loved a bunch of them but since I Love Owls. I choose (Hoo Loves you!) and My Favorite from Scraptasticalkreations was- Who Loves you best.   11. Shhhh!!! Don't tell anyone, but I left your blog this morning to go look at Scraptastical and A Little Bit of Heaven and I have been pouring over the adorable files all day and researching the best new die cut machine to get! LOL!!

    Your treats are so cute! They look delicious too. Thanks for the recipes!! My favorite file from A Little Bit of Heaven is Hot Chocolate Bears and my fav from Scraptastical is Baking Up memories. Such cute little Moose's! I love everything on both sites though!!

  20. Those recipes look yummy, too bad I'm on Weight Watchers! Although, the rice crispies treats probably have the fewest points (calories).

    My favorite patterns:
    Little scraps of Heaven - In the doghouse.
    Scraptastical Kreations - 3x3 notepad cover and holder. They would make great gifts!
