This blog is six women cousins living in the suburbs of Boston, six contrasting yet complementary personalities, six women at six different points in their lives with a blog that has blog post about recipes from the kitchen, funny stories, tips and tricks, kids, for the home, men, saving money, sewing corner, and books articles. I have fallen in love with all the recipes they have for the holidays. You will just love it there. Be sure to stop by and check out all their wonderful recipes you will be glad you did. Below is just a few of the cute tasty recipes they offer.

Nutter Butter Snowmen
These are too adorable...and tastey too.

Grab some nutter butters, white chocolate, m+ms, and orange tic-tacs in the grocery store to build these little snowmen. The tic-tacs are such a clever way to add the snowman carrot nose!

Easy Marshmallow Snowmen Cupcakes
These remind me of an ornament I have, of a s'more snowman. This adorable cupcake was crafted by Martha Stewart....take a look:

For hat: a chocolate-covered mint "beret"
For body: two marshmallows -- cut a slice off the top one and squish to make it smaller. Dabs of icing hold parts together

For nose: orange gummy fish (or candy corn piece cut small)

North Pole Cupcakes
These clever North Pole cupcakes will be a hit at your next holiday party. The cupcakes are featured on Karaspartyideas.com, see below for instructions on how to make them yourself.

So creative and tastey too...

Tree of Cheese Appetizer
This is an adorable "tree" of cheese arrangement from Cabot. It's an easy idea for any party this holiday season.

You'll need:

- Cubed variety of cheese (cheddar, white cheddar, pepperjack, Havarti dill)
- Sprigs of rosemary or other green
- Cherry tomatoes
- 1 ball of mozzarella for top

Cheese Ball Snowman
Here is a cheese-ball Snowman recipe that I love from Betty Crocker. Great for family and office Christmas parties that are approaching!

Ingredients:
3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 ounces)
2 tablespoons basil pesto
1 tablespoon grated onion
1/4 teaspoon yellow mustard
2 drops red pepper sauce
1 container (4 ounces) whipped cream cheese, softened

Assorted crackers

1 Mix 3 packages cream cheese and the Cheddar cheese; divide into 3 equal parts. Combine 2 parts to equal two-thirds of mixture; mix in pesto. Mix onion, mustard and pepper sauce into remaining one-third mixture.
2 Cover each cheese mixture and refrigerate about 4 hours or until firm enough to shape. Shape each cheese mixture into ball. Wrap each ball, label and freeze.
3 About 12 hours before serving, remove balls from freezer. Thaw in wrappers in refrigerator.
4 Arrange balls on serving plate with smaller ball on top for head of snowman. Frost snowman with whipped cream cheese before serving. Decorate as desired. Serve with crackers. Store covered in refrigerator.
