Some Yummy Recipes

Good morning crafty friends. I decided instead of posting a project today I would share some yummy recipes with you all.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Cream Cheese Frosting
These are so good they don't really need an introduction...

You'll Need:

2/3 cup vegetable oil
15 oz. can pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
2 eggs
1½ cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
cream cheese frosting (beat 1 pkg softened cream cheese, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 stick butter- room temp, 1 cup confectioner's sugar)

Directions
Preheat oven to 375°.
Combine oil, pumpkin, eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix just until completely blended.
Place rounded tablespoons on a cookie sheet about 1-2 inches apart.
Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes until beginning to brown slightly.
Transfer cookies to a rack and allow them to cool completely.
Cover flat side of one cookie with frosting and top with another cookie.

Oreo Reeses Turkeys

These oreo candy turkey are the cuties little critters! They would make adorable placeholders at your thanksgiving table this year.

What you'll need (per turkey):

2 Oreos
1 Mini Reeses PB cup
9 Candy Corns
1 Whopper
black and white tubes of frosting
Directions:

Melt chocolate chips and spoon a small amount to top of one side of an Oreo.
Adhere 2nd Oreo standing straight on onto bottom Oreo (use photo for reference).
Using more melted chocolate, use mini reeses cup as body, and adhere to Oreos.
Attach candy corn to top for feathers, sides for wings, and feet.
Place Whopper for the turkey’s head on top with melting chocolate as your glue.
Add last candy corn for beak, and dot the eyes lastly.

So worth the effort! And you can snack along the way...

Nutter Butter Snowmen
These are too adorable...and tastey too.

Grab some nutter butters, white chocolate, m+ms, and orange tic-tacs in the grocery store to build these little snowmen. The tic-tacs are such a clever way to add the snowman carrot nose!

Easy Marshmallow Snowmen Cupcakes
These remind me of an ornament I have of a s'more snowman.

You'll Need:
For hat: a chocolate-covered mint "beret"
For body: two marshmallows -- cut a slice off the top one and squish to make it smaller. Dabs of icing hold parts together
For eyes: chocolate sprinkles (poke holes first with a wet toothpick)
For nose: orange gummy fish (or candy corn piece cut small)

North Pole Cupcakes
These clever North Pole cupcakes will be a hit at your next holiday party.

You'll Need:

Vanilla Cupcakes
White frosting
Sugar crystals (or coconut might be a cute alternative)
Candy canes (break off the curved top)
Red M+Ms
Small Cut outs that say "North Pole" (you can print these of hand write them)

So creative and tastey too...
